Are you looking for a challenging role where you can design and develop custom control systems for automated manufacturing systems?

Do you have experience with Allen Bradley PLC programming or HMI development using Studio 5000 or Factory View?

As a Controls Engineer for our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing control systems and software programs to meet customer and project requirements. You will select and integrate hardware and software components, debug and commission software programs, and collaborate with machine builders, mechanical designers, project managers, and vendors. In addition, you will perform engineering calculations, produce electrical design packages, mentor junior designers, and support machine builders and electrical technicians during the build phase. You must also be willing to travel to customer and supplier sites for installation, commissioning, and training tasks.

To be successful in this role, you should have the ability to create, modify, and integrate new PLC and HMI programs, as well as experience in robot programming, C# development, and AutoCAD Electrical. You should also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, specializing in controls systems design or software engineering. BSEE degree preferred.
• 3 to 7 plus years’ experience writing software and electrical design for automation systems
• Demonstrated success functioning as a controls design engineer on multiple automation projects
• U.S. Citizenship
• Ability to cross international borders. (Passport required)
• Must be able to travel 10% of the time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
