Job Description


Reporting to the Head Women’s Basketball Coach, the Coordinator of Recruiting Operations will be responsible for:

Having a working understanding of the primary recruiting board by position and coordinating the creation of a master recruiting playbook.

Collecting information and intel relating to prospect targets on our recruiting board.

Daily communication with Assistant Coaches relating to new prospects, connection points and intel relating to recruiting information or transfer portal.

Daily and weekly phone call lists for continual relationship and connection of prospects, family members, and influencers.

Designing weekly recruiting handwritten list for coaches/staff.

Assisting with on-campus recruiting and serving as personnel liaison with on-campus units.

Designing recruiting call list for on-campus personnel and staff and coordinating Spring and Fall recruiting travel for assistant coaches.

Using connections to bring potential prospects to the table for evaluation and fit, including knowing the prospect’s background when bringing to the table.

Hosting official and unofficial visits and selecting and screening player hosts for visits.

Participating in daily recruiting meetings for planning of strategy on call lists, connection points, mass marketing targeting and individual/personalized targeting of prospects.

Managing weekly recruiting notes and keeping coaching staff updated on prospect information.

Designing and manage assistant coach communication schedules and assuring that all communications are being logged in appropriate recruiting software.


Salary


Salary is commensurate with education and experience


Shift


Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm; Nights, Weekends, and Travel as required.

Minimum Qualifications


A Bachelor’s degree in a related/relevant area or an equivalent combination of education and a minimum of 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired. Experience in the following of adhering to NCAA rules and regulations is also necessary.


Preferred Qualifications


Prior experience in a NCAA Division I basketball program.
