UHY is assisting a client based in Auburn Hills, MI and they are seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager to join their team! This role offers a hybrid work arrangement. Candidates must have hands-on Corporate Accounting / GL experience and strong SAP experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all general ledger activity for the corporate headquarters and North American holding companies, including journal entries, account reconciliation, SOX compliance and variance analysis.
• Oversee the account payable function for the corporate office responsible for vendor master data, invoice processing, expense inquiries, and vendor relationships
• Manage internal and external audits of the department, ensuring SOX compliance
• Supervise administration of the company’s credit card program, including acting as a liaison with the banks, supporting system maintenance, enforcing the company’s T&E policy, and monitoring integrated expense transactions
• Coaching and mentoring a large diverse team
• Assist in various projects including system implementations, process improvements and others as required.

What we’re looking for

• 8-10 years’ experience in accounting or finance
• BA in Accounting or Finance required
• Corporate accounting experience preferred
• SAP experience required
