The Corporate Client Banking & Specialized Industries (CCBSI) group is part of CB at JPMorgan Chase and focuses on Domestic and International clients which require traditional banking services in addition to investment banking products. CCBSI generally covers clients with revenues of $500mm to $2B+. CCBSI is organized into regional and industry segment. The Financial Institutions Group (FIG), covers Banks, Insurance, Mortgage Finance and Diversified Financial clients.
The Financial Institutions Group (FIG), covers Banks, Insurance, Mortgage Finance and Diversified Financial clients. The group partners with investment bankers, credit executives, and other product partners to offer customized and complex financing solutions to its clients. The Financial Institutions Group, and especially the Diversified Finance Group within FIG is expected to grow over the foreseeable future.
You will act as the primary point of contact for bankers and product partners across the Commercial Bank for various data management submissions , reporting requests, and ad-hoc projects . The role offers a platform to learn the fundamentals of commercial banking, partner with bankers to understand the client lifecycle across complex portfolios, and provides the ability to develop into the Business Manager role, or other roles across Finance & Business Management. Td managing ongoing business needs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support Business Managers in partnership with region/industry group leads including Group Heads and Treasury Services Sales Heads via tactical and strategic work streams to help support their businesses, including:
- Assisting with key business management functions including project management, analysis of sales/management reporting, and ad-hoc requests related to banker's client portfolios
- Gaining exposure and building knowledge of financial results and other data to understand business drivers to support opportunities to grow the business
- Helping manage the group's portfolio by supporting strategic targeting efforts from a tactical perspective, and by executing data maintenance and client transfers between lines of business
- Engage with bankers, treasury teams, and other key business partners such as client service, Know Your Customer, marketing, credit, investment banking, as well as additional lines of business across JPMC to gather input, insights, and data, that feeds into reporting, senior management and senior partners across the firm
- Provide support to bankers as it pertains to systems and reporting tools such as Qlik Dashboard and Salesforce, while becoming subject matter experts in resulting reporting and researching issues as they arise such as product revenue misalignments and client profitability research/analysis
- Assist with select Business Management efforts under the direction of Business Managers
- Across all responsibilities:
- Identify areas for continued process improvement and enhance efficiencies by generating innovative ideas and solutions
- Prepare presentation materials to be shared with management, business groups and other relevant stakeholders
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Economics
- Minimum 3-5 years of business management, strategy or financial analysis experience
- Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with Salesforce/Catalyst, Company IQ, Client Central, PitchPro as well as data visualization tools Qliksense, Tableau, etc.
