Job description

We're looking for a Correctional Officer to enforce the rules of our facility and supervise the activities of inmates daily. Correctional Officers at our facility enjoy paid vacation, a comprehensive health care package and are eligible for a 401K.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain security and order in prisons.
• Maintain order in jails and other detention centers.
• Confiscate contraband.
• Conduct investigations of crimes committed within the facility.
• Interviews prisoners for the purpose of disciplinary action or criminal prosecution.
• Initiate and manage communications between prisons and the courts.
• Communicate with outside agencies about dangerous or disruptive inmates.
• Enforce rules, regulations, and policies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $34,271.00 - $35,005.00 per year
