Job description

Will monitor Kentucky Department of Corrections state inmates & parolees during their daily routines. Job duties will included, but are not limited to:

• Maintain documentation
• Monitor meals
• Monitor visits
• Conduct inmate counts
• Video monitoring
• Telephone monitoring
• Maintain the safety and security
• Search for contraband
• Drug urinalysis

*Other responsibilities will be discussed during interview process.

Starting pay will be $15.00 per hour. Yearly raises will be based on performance of duties.

This job will provide valuable experience for applicants wishing to enter the Law Enforcement/Corrections/Criminal Justice/Etc fields. We have had many successful employees that transitioned out to the following job fields:

• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
