Job description
We are looking for an experienced Cost Administrator who will create multiple cost sheets for specific industrial projects for daily approval. The Cost Administrator will be a key player in creating smooth daily cost reporting for all key projects. The Cost Administrator must underestand budgeting and have the ability to capture all fees that will be incurred for each specific project. The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision. They will be self-motivated and trustworthy.
Responsibilities
- Daily coordination of office activities and operations with supervisor to maintain efficiency and compliance to company policies
- Help streamline project pre-job meetings for future planning
- Review all project manhours and accounts payable records to include in daily cost reporting
- Maintain great communication with each project manager and upper management
- Follow each project from start to finish and send client progress billings and final invoices for project close out
- Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data
- Assist in other duties as needed
Skills
- Proven experience analyzing cost for an industrial contractor
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Familiarity with office procedures and basic accounting principles
- Ability to invoice clients in a timeley manner and in line with cost data
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and Adobe Acrobat
- Master of Microsoft Excel and in depth knowledge of formulas
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $28.00 per hour
