Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for 2023 – 2024
Cooperative School Services is based in Rensselaer and serves nine school corporations (Benton Community, Frontier, Kankakee Valley, North Newton, North White, Rensselaer Central, South Newton, Tri-County and West Central).
Position: COTA working with students with IEPs (preschool – high school). This is a school year position. Pediatric experience preferred.
Start Date: Early August 2023
Duties:
1. Carry out the plans developed by the OTR for the provision of Occupational Therapy services
2. Completion of required documentation and other forms
3. Assist OTR in organizing and providing activities and materials for therapy services
4. Provide assistance to other school personnel related to the Occupational Therapy needs of students
5. Assist the OTR with other assigned duties
