Job description

We are currently looking for an individual who can work a 6-8 hour shift as needed on an per diem basis.

Duties and Responsibilities .

• Transports specimens from client offices to laboratory in a timely and safe manner
• Maintain patient confidentially and follow all HIPAA protocol
• Transports reports and supplies to client offices
• Verifies specimen count with client and accessioning department (basic math)
• Professional with clients at all times
• Communicates any client concerns with supervisor
• Responsible for communication of company vehicle maintenance
• Must be comfortable driving around the city of Rochester, Syracuse & Buffalo
• Follow all vehicle safety rules
• Follow all COVID regulations IE. Masking, hand washing, etc.

Education/Experience: High School diploma or equivalent. Must have a NYS drivers license. Will run a drivers abstract prior to hire. Must have less then 3 points on your license and not show a pattern of distracted driving.

Language Ability: Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands. The employee is frequently required to walk; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
