Job Description

Title: COVID Vaccination Required RN/LPN Clinic in Avon, Colorado

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our busy clinic in Avon, CO. COVID vaccination is required with this facility. As an essential member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing excellent patient care, maintaining patient records, and completing administrative duties that assist in the management of patient care.

Responsibilities:

Assist providers with patient care and procedures
Record and monitor vital signs, patient history, and invasive procedures
Respond to patient phone calls in a professional manner
Prepare patients for scheduled procedures
Administer injections and initiate intravenous therapy
Monitor medical condition of patient and report changes to the appropriate provider
Maintain patient documentation and communicate plan of care with provider
Ensure cleanliness, adequate stock of supplies and functioning equipment in examination rooms
Clean and sterilize equipment and tools
Complete shift opening and closing procedures
Assist all providers and other clinical staff as needed and assigned
Complete other tasks/duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications:

Medical Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, Licensed Practical Nurse
CPR certification
Computer and typing proficiency
Ability to effectively organize resources, establish priorities and perform multiple tasks
Professionalism and ability to be discreet with confidential and sensitive issues
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Strong verbal/written communication and organization skills
Basic knowledge of medical terminology, medical equipment, HIPAA compliance and OSHA rules and regulations
Ability to arrive at work on a timely basis when scheduled (at least 15 minutes prior to seeing patients) and to work a varied schedule
Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time
