Terra Ferma Fine Gardening is seeking a motivated individual to lead one of our Fine Gardening crews. Our company has been in business for 25 years providing high-end Landscaping services throughout the peninsula and San Francisco. Job Responsibilities

• Oversee a crew of semi-skilled gardeners while maintaining detailed property reports that track time spent on site, work performed, materials used and upcoming tasks.
• Irrigation system scheduling, management and repair.
• Driving and maintaining a company vehicle that transports crew, equipment and materials.
• Maintaining gardening equipment and ensure its correct and safe operation.
• Manage plant healthcare; including disease diagnosis and developing and implementing a treatment plan.
• Delegate, perform, and oversee the completion of tasks including: weeding, mulching beds, planting shrubs, trees, bulbs and annuals, skilled pruning, leaf clean-up, and lawn care.
• Exceed manager and client expectations by providing proactive communication and excellent customer service.
• Develop and implement fertilization schedules for a variety of plant material including trees, shrubs, and turf.

Requirements:

• Valid CA Drivers License
• Clean driving record
• Associates or higher degree in Horticultural field or a combination of related coursework & experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Basic Spanish Communication

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
