Position Summary
As a Cultivation Team Lead, your role is to support the Cultivation Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of a cannabis cultivation facility. You will work closely with the Cultivation Manager and assist in coordinating all aspects of the cultivation process, ensuring that the team follows standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory requirements, and maintains high-quality standards.

WEEKEND AVAILABILITY REQUIRED - The ideal candidate for this role must be available to work on weekends. Preference will be given to individuals who are residents of Santa Fe, as it will enhance their accessibility and availability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Team Support

• Assist the Cultivation Manager in providing guidance, training, and support to the cultivation team, ensuring they understand and follow SOPs, regulations, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with the Cultivation Manager to assign tasks, set goals, and monitor the performance of team members, providing feedback and addressing any issues.

Cultivation Operations

• Work alongside the team to perform all cultivation tasks such as transplanting, feeding, pruning, staking, pest control, and harvesting, ensuring adherence to SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
• Help maintain optimal environmental conditions, including temperature, humidity, lighting, and ventilation, by monitoring and making necessary adjustments.

Compliance and Documentation

• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, documenting plant growth stages, nutrient usage, and other relevant information using appropriate software or systems.
• Support the Cultivation Manager in ensuring compliance with record-keeping and reporting requirements set forth by regulatory bodies.
• Contribute to quality control measures, monitoring plant health, identifying potential issues, and supporting corrective actions.

Facility Maintenance and Safety

• Collaborate with the Cultivation Manager to ensure proper maintenance of cultivation areas and equipment. Follow and promote safety protocols and regulations, including the proper handling and storage of raw cannabis, hazardous materials, and equipment.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Must be 21 years of age.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a team lead or supervisory role is required.
• Strong leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate, inspire, and guide team members toward achieving goals and objectives.
• Effective communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, following directions from the Cultivation Manager and effectively supporting team members.
• The capacity to adapt to changing circumstances, handle setbacks, and maintain composure under pressure.
• Adaptability and resilience inspire confidence in the team and help navigate challenges effectively.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to maintain accurate records.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
