Guest Services Representative - Custodial (Part-Time)
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Routine manual work in maintaining, cleaning and upkeep of the Parks and Recreations facilities. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Program Coordinator for Recreation and Special Events.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Responsible for cleaning of parks and recreation facilities, included but not limited to, cleaning & sanitizing restrooms, offices, game rooms, and locker rooms, vacuuming, mopping and waxing floors.
2. Assists with the maintenance at the Civic Center and Senior Center.
3. Assists with the drafting/preparation reports, when necessary.
4. Provides supervision of park facilities and recreational program activities.
5. Provides assistance to the general public in using the park facilities by accepting
6. Reservation for facilities use, camps, or programs and collecting fees after regular office hours.
7. Assist in inventory process of materials and supplies for the facility.
8. Opens, closes and secures Parks and Recreation facilities.
9. Performs other duties as assigned or as may be necessary at other Parks and Recreation Facilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
· Knowledge of janitorial practices and procedures.
· Knowledge of basic facility maintenance practices and procedures.
· Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
· Ability to provide a very high level of customer service
· Ability to prepare reports, maintain records, express ideas clearly and concisely, orally and in writing.
· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, other departments, community groups and the general public.
· Knowledge of coordinating and implementing a facility maintenance procedure.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS OR REGISTRATIONS:
Valid Florida Driver’s License
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL SKILLS:
· Acceptable eyesight (with or without correction).
· Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
· Acceptable hearing (with or without hearing aid)
· Walking, Standing, Kneeling, Bending, Stooping
· Driving
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Normally works inside in an office environment; however, some work is required outside and on Nights, Weekends and Holidays.

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Custodial Experience: 1 year (Required)
- Building Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
