Custodian/ Assistant Maintenance Technician
Job description
Kennebec Valley Community Action Program (KVCAP), which seeks to strengthen individuals, families and communities through direct services and community collaborations that create solutions to poverty, is looking to hire two self-motivated full time Custodian/Assistant Maintenance Technicians within our Facilities department. Working within Educare Central Maine, the individuals in this position will be responsible for cleaning and assisting with building maintenance.
Requirements:- Experience in general cleaning, maintenance, and repair work preferred
- Good interpersonal skills
- Flexible and willing to work on a variety of projects independently
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; move light furniture and perform repeated lifting, bending, etc.
- Ability to pass State Bureau of Investigation, Department of Health and Human Services, Fraud, and National Sex Offender registry background checks
