The Role
This is a *remote* opportunity in Bentonville, AR
In This Role, You will…
- Own the category management process at Walmart engaging the appropriate resources to effectively maximize sales and grow margins for Walmart in store and online.
- Elevate best in class category management principles driving efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collect, analyze, interpret and report relevant information sources including retailer proprietary data source.
- Proactively identify emerging shopper trends, competitive threats and customer opportunities leveraging all available resources making fact-based recommendations to Walmart as appropriate.
- Responsible for developing, optimizing & maintaining planograms for shopability, space to sales, capacity and other applicable tools and research.
- Identify and measure promotional & competitive activities.
- Help merchants/buyers with mod planning, setting the mod, tracking down samples or products, and other miscellaneous tasks upon request
- Work collaboratively and effectively with the Fellowes Mobile team to lead impactful shopper learning initiatives.
- Manage demographic database and support requests for data / information.
- Strong analytical skills including 3+ years of experience with syndicated data sources (Circana), Retail Link reporting, shopper scan data, market basket data, etc.
- At least 3 years of Modular space planning experience along with relevant software experience (ie. SpacePlanning)
- Deep understanding of Walmart’s Modular Development process
- Experience maintaining customer relationships, Walmart preferred
- Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize diverse requests and projects from all levels with a sense of urgency while meticulously managing details
- A fast learner with a positive attitude ready to work with a highly collaborative team
