ABOUT THE POSITION:
The Customer Data Supervisor is an integral member of the Misumi USA Planning team. The selected candidate will lead the department in ensuring that accurate customer data is collected, analyzed, and applied in a timely manner. The scope of your responsibilities will cover the Misumi USA customer service organization and parent company subsidiaries. With your strong project management and communication skills, you will produce highly visible deliverables that contribute significantly to the achievement of customer satisfaction, key performance indicators (KPI) and key success factors (KSF). In this role, you will support the Customer Service Center by:
- Developing and implementing processes and KPIs to ensure accurate and timely customer data initiatives and data integrity, and consistent analytics
- Identifying areas within the business which need updating or improving, often working in cooperation with the warehouse, logistics, IT, customer service and accounting/finance/AR departments.
- Leading and driving both large and small-scale projects to successful completion.
- Collecting data, generating reports, conducting analysis, and implementing strategy
- Communicating with our Japanese corporate headquarters and other subsidiaries to ensure a smooth cross-functional operation from a customer data perspective.
- Investigating and researching potential customer data integrity improvements through verbal discussion and creation of supporting analytic reports, projects or processes
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or IT field.
- 5+ years of experience in operations/planning/root cause analysis with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Advanced skill in Microsoft Office Applications.
- History of successful large project management and implementation.
- Ability to work cross functionally and influence change across the organization.
- Ability to leverage communication skills to influence business direction and decisions.
- Contact center/Call center background is preferred, but not required.
- Previous experience in post-merger integration is preferred, but not required.
- Six Sigma Green belt is preferred, but not required.
