Your Purpose

We’re now looking to recruit a Customer Development Executive (CDE) to join our brilliant NI Off Trade Team

You will Sell in & execute the correct level of suppot for all MCBC brands in all suitable outlets within a defined geographical region. Work with customers and achieve brilliant executional standards, gain distribution of MCBC Brands across all licensed retail shops in NI, drive features in order to support Off Trade Commercial Teams achieve brand objectives, maximise profitability and ensue that MC are first choice for our customers in that territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grow and extend our brand portfolio in existing stockists and deliver new & suitable brand distribution in non-stockists. Take responsibility for maximising visibility, ros, and quality of all MCBC brands. Deliver a passion for MCBC brands and champion beer & beyond beer beverages both internally and externally via training, commercial argument, product knowledge and category insights
  • Take responsibility for all direct & indirect MCBC sales within your defined region and customer base through regional wholesale partners and head office direct accounts. Deliver targeted new brand distribution
  • Develop shared business plans with appropriate wholesale partners to ensure best practice in all aspects of customer service. Deliver best-in-class brand execution through defined customer activation plans and bespoke key account plans aligned to brand plans. Deliver on our first choice for consumer & customer ambitions
  • Be responsible for building and maintaining both a reactive and proactive journey-plan call cycle to ensure maximum realisation of all commercial, brand & MCBC goals.
  • Commercial responsibility for growing business with indirectly-supplied key accounts in your region. Deliver sustainable targeted distribution, feature distribution, NPD, volume-growth via commercial terms and/or commercially-led activities.

About You

  • Numerate with a strong commercial acumen gained in previous Sales/Business Development/Account Management Roles
  • Persuasive with strong influencing skills
  • Collaborative and Action orientated

Preferred:
  • Trade / Customer Relationships & working knowledge of territory
  • Proven track record for delivering against targets
  • A working understanding of Off Trade, On Trade & Wholesale market structures
  • Experience in managing customer/outlet profitability
