Job Description

The Advisor I, Chat Support position interfaces with customers via inbound chats, outbound calls, or through the Internet depending upon client requirements. This position provides customer service support and resolution of routine problems regarding client's product or services.

As a Customer Service Advisor, we are offering

  • Salary £19,760 per annum (£9.50 per hour)
  • 40 hours per week
  • Fortnightly pay
  • 28 days holiday per year (includes bank holidays)

You will be working on behalf of one of the world’s most reputable banking organisations. As a Customer Service Chat Advisor where you will be the first point of contact for our online customers. Your principle role will be to manage live chat conversations, providing support to customers on a wide range of banking issues. You'll be results driven, and ready to take on challenging KPIs, while maintaining excellent customer service.

We will put you through a first-class training program for 6 weeks. This will involve all aspects of the role and enable all our valued staff to become part of a cohesive team. Training will be from 1pm to 10pm Monday to Friday, 6 weeks. Evening shift rotations will begin from week 7.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of excellent customer service by managing your own live chat conversations in a timely manner
  • Handling multiple live chat banking enquiries making sure each customers feel valued and supported
  • Work towards monthly KPI’s to meet targets including call efficiency and quality
  • Keep up to date with policies and products through system and email communications

Criteria/requirements:

  • A minimum of 6 months customer service experience
  • Live chat experience desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be available for full time work (40 hours per week) between Monday to Sunday 1pm to 10pm
  • This is a work from home position – we’ll deliver your equipment & technology, but you must have a working internet connection with a minimum speed of 5mbps upload & 10 mbps download and your own Ethernet cable.
  • Must have a mobile phone with ios 8 or above to download work related app. You may be required to use this for other work-related purposes.
  • You must have a quiet working space at home one in which you can conduct the role in a confidential manner due to the nature of the position.
  • A clear credit history and no unspent criminal convictions
