About the Role

LV=GI have a fantastic opportunity to join our family of talented people. We are looking for 2 X permanent and 1X 12-month fixed term contract as a Customer Service Handler - Personal Operations.

The role will be located at the Brentwood office working 35hrs a week Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm. You will need to attend the office a minimum of 2 days a week with flexibility on the remaining 3 days. The salary for the role is £24,150.00

You will provide a first class, professional, friendly and high-quality service; focusing on dealing with technical/underwriting enquiries from brokers and customers, so that their requirements are fully met, and to contribute to the success of the business.

The Details

  • To provide an exceptional level of customer service in line with the defined business service goals.

  • Respond to broker and customer needs whilst taking responsibility for the resolution of all enquiries in accordance with agreed underwriting, product and procedural guidelines.

  • Assist in the underwriting of new and existing personal lines insurance business in accordance with your set level of underwriting authority.

  • Achieve agreed service, productivity, quality and performance targets in line with business and personal objectives.

  • Work closely with Product Underwriters to refer and agree actions and, where required, apply terms.

  • Comply with all internal, regulatory and statutory standards and controls, so that the requirements of the group and regulatory bodies are met.

  • Take personal ownership for applying TCF within the role and assist in embedding it within the culture of the team.

  • Play a pro-active part in identifying self-development needs in order to achieve personal and business goals and address these through role progression, personal development and training.
