Who You Are
You're a curious problem solver who has the ability to bring big ideas to life. You're creative and scrappy but can navigate a large organization with ease. You're agile and adaptable but work with precision to ensure we deliver top-notch customer experiences, always. You also have:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Three (3) years customer service experience with major automotive customers.
  • MRP and EDI software experience, JD Edwards and Infor (Future 3) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of SMART/PC PORTAL II for FCA preferred.
  • Ability to build relationships

What You'll Do
Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor, the Customer Service Coordinator will act as the primary point of contact for all customer product/service inquiries, quotation and order requests. With a professional attitude towards customers and co-workers, this individual will process all aspects of customer orders from inception to invoicing. The representative will be responsible to pro-actively manage the customer relationship and order management to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Sets up and maintains a good rapport with our customer follow-up personnel.
  • Communicates scheduling changes (increases/decreases) reflected in customer requirements.
  • Responsible for all customer external websites, SMART (Chrysler), DDL (Ford) Super G, Plexus, Toyota, GM Supply Power, etc.
  • Keeps accurate records on cumulative shipments. Coordinates disputes for premium transportation on a timely basis.
  • Initiates daily shipping orders in conjunction with customer's weekly requirements, ensuring standard packs are shipped whenever possible while avoiding over shipments.
  • Timely response as first contact with the customer for on-time delivery and quality. Provide from analysis appropriate actions i.e. credits, debits, escalation to cross functional teams.
  • Follows up with internal cross-functional teams on potential shortages.
  • Customer coordinated communications when schedules are jeopardized and appropriate arrangement of expedites where applicable.
  • Pulls customer delivery ratings and reports problems to supervisor. Works with other departments on corrective actions.
  • Prepare documents or updates customer websites for Trade Agreements, Certificate of Origin, Manufacturing Affidavits by utilizing our internal Trade Compliance tools and JDE.
