The Northbrook Park District is seeking a welcoming Part-time Customer Service Representative to work the front desk at the Leisure Center. Customer Service Representatives are often the first point of contact for our members and are expected to provide the highest quality of customer service.


Wage & Shift Information

$15.00+ depending on experience

This position is for weekday evening shifts, approximately 5pm-8pm, and weekends, alternating Saturday's from 8:30am-3:00pm. There is also the possibility of picking up additional shifts during the week.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Check-in members and guests
  • Process registration and membership transactions
  • Provide strong customer service to patrons
  • Answer questions and concerns and provide follow up as needed
  • Provide administrative and program support while actively promoting programs and membership
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

A high school degree or equivalent and experience working in an environment requiring the ability to multi-task. Must possess excellent skills in customer service, general office practices and computers (Microsoft Office) and be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Needs to be able to perform basic math to reconcile cash drawers. Must have a CPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain within three (3) month of hire. Must possess knowledge of software applications, such as program registration software.

May occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
