Summary:

The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented and possessing excellent analytical skills. The position requires interaction with customers (physicians, senior administrators, and data requestors) to provide timely, succinct, and quality data analysis. This person will be responsible for proper selection, manipulation, integration and analysis of data from variety of sources. A key role of this position will focus on design of database tables, creating, deploying and maintenance of ETL jobs and packages.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, development and maintenance of ETL workflows and automation
• Conducts research and analytical studies, preparing reports that include cost analyses, comparative financial data, and informational data to support findings.

• Consults with customers to identify and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, data scope, usage, formatting, and security requirements. Support customers in providing custom data extracts as needed.
• Write complex SQL queries to analyze data and respond to data issue questions.
• Design, build and maintain SSRS reporting for end users
• Assist with ad hoc requests for data and analysis to drive key decisions
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience

• In-depth knowledge of Enterprise Data Warehouse. Data sourcing, data mapping and managing metadata
• Advanced ETL skills preferably Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Strong, proven SQL experience
• Accomplished in ability to find accurate data across multiple servers and databases
• Excellent oral/written communication skills and presentation skills

• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field, such as Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, Data Analytics
• Experience in healthcare data

• This position is approximately 80% remote with some required days in the office.
