Role: Database Administrator

Location: New York – Hybrid from Day 1
Duration: 12 Months
Experience: 8+ years

Job Description:

  • Support OMS and GIS Environment & Databases
  • OMS and EGIS related Linux /Windows server requests built to Client standards
  • Performance monitoring and optimization of all ArcGIS / ArcFM Environments
  • Maintaining sync jobs and reporting failures to the Application PoCs
  • Support Build deployments
  • Maintain configuration stores
  • Provide ongoing database maintenance, including optimizing databases for specific applications.
  • Update database software as required.
  • SDE compress and rebuild index
  • Maintaining growth, scalability, tasks and schedules
  • Data synchronization and replication
  • Maintenance of current editing workflows and version architecture
  • Maintain conEdison enterprise geospatial data models for Gas and Electric ( Versioned and non-versioned datasets)
  • Maintain the Esri ArcGIS Enterprise (10.6.1) and planned migrations

Skills & Requirements

  • Expertise in the Linux or Windows server operating systems and technologies
  • Expertise with Oracle and the ability to troubleshoot issues with Oracle, experience with building Oracle would be a plus
  • Oracle database version 11 to latest 21 and 23.x
  • Oracle Golden Gate and Dataguard
  • Experiences supporting Exadata
