Job description
- Maintain and manage the organization’s CRM database to track donations and data accurately and efficiently.
- Develop and implement internal database standards and organizational practices to ensure that data is collected accurately and efficiently.
- Identify and address issues or challenges, and implement solutions to maintain data quality.
- Conduct research on latest data trends and best practices, and implement automation when feasible.
- Maintain code tables, attributes, and other set-up functions.
- Collaborate with teams and departments to develop and support reporting tools to improve the organization's fundraising strategies.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with software suppliers and vendors.
- Analyze and improve record management to reduce errors and inefficiencies.
- Conduct regular data quality checks to ensure data accuracy and policy and tax compliance.
- Oversee gift collecting and recording process.
- Oversee staff training and understanding of donor databases and best practices.
- Comprehensive understanding of database management, basic accounting principles, and data manipulation.
- Ability to multitask and work independently.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to present complex data to diverse audiences.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in nonprofit database management.
- Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge preferred.
Salary:
- $80,000 - $95,000 per year.
