The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking Daycare / Preschool Teachers for our schools throughout Columbia, West Columbia, Irmo, and Blythewood.
No nights! No weekends! And make a difference every day.
About The Sunshine House:
Bright Futures Start Here! The Sunshine House is much more than daycare for children 6 weeks to 12-years-old. We help children build a solid educational and social foundation - with all the fun of childhood mixed in! We are one of the largest early education and childcare companies in the United States, operating more than 100 schools in 8 states. Our schools exude a comforting, family feeling, and are led by passionate, supportive early childhood professionals.
Pay rate of $14-16 per hour, based on experience, education and credentials.

Childcare Teaching Opportunities:
- Infant Teacher

Teacher Responsibilities:
- Implement our award-winning curriculum in a way that meets each child's unique learning style.
- Foster relationships with children and provide a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Document and share with families the important milestones in a child’s day using our app.
- Encourage and model social behavior and expectations which are developmentally appropriate.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- ECD 101, CDA, or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- At least 6 months of experience working in licensed childcare required.
