Saturday and Sunday 7am-7pm

We are looking for a professional & experienced Unarmed DCJS Security Officer to protect our premises, assets and personnel. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions. The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report.

Responsibilities:

• Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
• Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
• Take accurate & detailed notes of any suspicious occurrences or incidents
• Monitor and control access at site entrances and vehicle gates
• Provide customer service to our clients & visitors by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, required only for overnight shift only. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed officer roles.
• Proven work experience as a Licensed DCJS Security Officer.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Colorado Security Agency will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures / protocols.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
• Surveillance skills and detail orientation.
• Integrity and professionalism.
• Prior Military / Law Enforcement a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

• DCJS Security License (Required)
