Community Charter School of Cambridge (CCSC) is a public charter school that serves students in grades 6-12. The Dean Fellow will support CCSCs mission of being a restorative school. Working in collaboration with CCSCs leadership team, staff, students and families, the Dean Fellow will build positive relationships with students in grades 6 through 12, encouraging behavior consistent with the four core values (commitment, courage, scholarship, and community). The Dean Fellow can expect to: Track student attendance and support students attending and staying in classSupport teachers by responding to incidents in classrooms and leading de-escalation efforts Collaborate with staff, families, and students to create goal-oriented accountability projects and plans for individual studentsCommunicate with students families on a regular basis Manage non-classroom spaces such as lunch and recess Be trained in restorative practices, and once trained, facilitate restorative circles and support students and staff in repairing harmGather information for disciplinary related investigations as needed Engage in a personalized project starting in Quarter 2 based on the Dean Fellows areas of interest and school need Perform other tasks as assigned Qualifications: Bachelors degree preferred; Associates degree or equivalent requiredWork in a school setting, ideally with students in grades 6-12, is preferred CCSC will offer training for this position so candidates with no prior experience are encouraged to apply SalaryThe salary range for this position is $50,000-55,000 depending on experience working with students.
