What We Need:
  • We need a Decaser who is responsible for production line tasks
What You Will Do:
  • You will report ahead of line staff to ensure organized start or transition of shift
  • You will conduct the Pre-Operational Line Meeting with your assigned production line
  • You will ensure the required quality checks are completed by line personnel as required by their position
  • You will ensure the required packaging items have been supplied to the production line
  • You will serve as the central communication point for the Production Management team for your assigned production line
  • You will facilitate the break process for your assigned production line while still maintaining listed priorities
  • You will be responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of the production line area
  • You will communicate directly with other departments (Warehouse, Kitchen, Maintenance, Quality) to ensure smooth production flow with a focus on line efficiency, safety and quality
  • You will raise any issues that could affect normal production execution to the Production Supervisor
  • You will ensure all samples are collected and returned to the Quality department promptly by the end of shift
What You Will Need:
  • Minimum of a High School Education
  • 1+ years’ experience in manufacturing environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Professionalism, problem solving, attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with a strong dedication for success, taking pride in workmanship
  • Participation in employee training as it relates to GMP’s, Health and Safety, periodic technical training as it relates to internal development, active participation of Line Improvement and Optimization activities ensuring high performance of Production
  • Computer proficiency, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook etc.
  • Knowledge of food safety, HACCP, GMP and other quality programs
  • Ability to work independently with high quality and productivity
  • Willing to work flexible hours and frequent overtime including weekends
  • Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, blueprints, diagrams, schematics, equipment instructions, requirements and business correspondences.
  • Ability to safely lift a minimum of 50 pounds in a repetitive nature
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to work in an environment exposed to milk, egg, mustard, peanuts, fish, sulfites, sesame, soy, tree nuts, and wheat allergens
