JOB DESCRIPTION FOR
DECK ASSISTANT
Are you organized, LOVE to have fun, and excited to work in a child-focused environment? This role might be perfect for you! Help keep our kids safe, our instructors organized, and our parents well informed as a part of our team of Deck Assistants!
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Have a positive and heartfelt attitude at all times.
Greet, check in and guide children to their appropriate station. Escort new children personally.
Check in students on IPad
Inform instructors of new students in their classes.
Assist and monitor children to and from restroom.
Retrieve equipment for instructors as needed.
Enforce all safety rules
Assist in emergency situations
Attend training and workshops throughout the year.
Ring cowbell for birthdays, accomplishments/recognitions. Lead birthday song.
Make sure deck is in order at end of shift
Inform supervisor of any class discrepancies.
Keep deck podium neat and orderly
