Job description
The Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering office equipment and supplies. You are responsible for providing quality service and solutions to our clients while maintaining high client satisfaction.
Duties and responsibilities
- Deliver equipment to the client via box truck, ensuring all established quality assurance standards are met.
- Assist with product set-ups as necessary.
- Pick up appropriate copier equipment and supplies to return, ensuring all paperwork is filled out and turned in to the proper personnel.
- Obtain client signatures on the required paperwork and turn the paperwork into designated representatives promptly.
- Assist clients with equipment/supply questions when requested.
- Safely perform all work, including but not limited to loading/unloading delivery vehicles, lifting equipment, etc., to protect yourself and your coworkers.
- Other duties as directed by the Warehouse/Logistic Leader.
Job Type: Full-Time
Occasional overnight stays may be required
Some weekend hours are required.
Skills:
- Good Communication skills - verbal and written.
- Customer service skills.
- Bilingual preferred
- Proficiency with MS Office.
- Demonstrates organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a professional manner.
- Punctuality and Professionalism.
- Observe safety and security procedures; Report potentially unsafe conditions: Use equipment and materials properly, including but not limited to pallet jacks, hand trucks, stair climbers, etc.
- Ability to move/lift or maneuver equipment weighing 150+ lbs.
- Adapt to changes in the work environment; Change approach to method to best fit the situation; Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
- Clean driving record and the ability to drive company vehicles such as box trucks, vans, etc.
