Job description

Our company is seeking delivery drivers to help deliver goods to customers. The ideal candidate will have experience driving a delivery van (Amazon-style high roof), a clean driving record, and a valid driver's license. Skills in customer service and organization are also critical to the job, as are the ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions provided by supervisors.

Responsibilities:

• Pick up beverage pallets from Indiana processing location and deliver to Chicago-area accounts.
• Work with Chicago sales teams to deliver to on-premise and off-premise accounts.
• Deliver packages in the local area under tight time constraints.
• Deliver packages to individual business addresses.
• Deliver packages on time and in good condition.
• Use a Penske vehicle to deliver packages.
• Prepare packages for delivery.
• Be able to lift heavy objects up to 70 lbs. and carry them for long distances.
• Work as part of a team.
• Follow all traffic laws.
• Have basic knowledge about town geography.

Company apparel will be provided. This role is beginning as a gig role. However, business accounts are quickly growing and there is potential for a larger role with the company.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
