Overview:
Symbria RX is seeking a PRN Phamracy Deliver Driver at Great Lake North, PA.

POSITION SUMMARY
The primary purpose of the Delivery Exchange Driver/Technician is to prepare and deliver weekly strip exchanges to the all client’s communities and its residents.
Responsibilities:
FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Delivery Driver Duties:
  • Inspect assigned vehicle; check fluid levels, gas, and air pressure and adjust accordingly to ensure safe and proper operation. Complete vehicle inspection report daily and report any problems to the supervisor.
  • Verify all orders are properly processed and bagged for delivery.
  • Ability to follow pre-assigned delivery routes.
  • Meet the daily deadlines of scheduled medication deliveries.
  • Return all items sent back by the community to the appropriate area after each run.
  • Complete and file all documentation required regarding deliveries, including written and digital signatures establishing proof of delivery.
  • Assist in the process of community returns in pharmacy software according to policies and procedures.
  • Communicates any client concerns to management.
  • Any and all duties as assigned.
Pharmacy Technician Duties
  • Fill orders accurately and efficiently in a timely manner, under the supervision of a
  • Develops knowledge of pharmacy policies and procedures and complies with them.
  • Assisting in toting area for medication deliveries as necessary.
  • Process orders for scheduled daily cycle fill medication deliveries via automated dispensing machines.
Dress Code Requirements
  • All delivery personnel must wear their name badge at all times.
  • Drivers must wear long pants or approved walking shorts that are clean and free of rips or holes.
  • Black or blue jeans, blue or khaki dress pants.
  • Drivers must wear shirts displaying the company logo.
  • Protective footwear must be worn such as closed-in shoes.
  • Refer to complete Symbria Rx Services Delivery Personnel Dress Code in the Symbria Rx Services Employee Handbook.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • The various responsibilities for a delivery driver are often physically demanding and require that the driver be in good physical condition.
  • Must be able to withstand prolonged or considerable walking, standing, reaching, stooping, and
  • Must be able to lift, position or transfer supplies and equipment.
  • Medium work with ability to exert/push and pull up to 60 pounds.
  • Required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.
Delivery drivers are subject to hazards, such as proximity to moving vehicles.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
To perform this job successfully, the ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily is necessary and the qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver’s license and a violation free driving record as per the drivers review requirements.
  • General computer knowledge including Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot basic computer problems.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Act as a liaison between communities and pharmacy displaying professional customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a flexible schedule as operational needs dictate, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

QUALIFICATIONS preferred
  • Delivery driver experience.
