Job -DeltaV Engineer
Location - Greenville, NC
Hourly Rate $70-75 hr.
8 month contract

Belcan is looking for a DeltaV Engineer for an 8 month contract. This position will sit onsite at our client's end client in Greenville, NC. All expenses (travel and living) will be paid at cost. This position could convert to full time if interested in relocating to NC.

Top Skills Needed:
o 5-10 years of experience programming DeltaV
o Knowledge of DeltaV Virtual I/O Module (VIM) and OPC interfacing required.
o Experience with DeltaV PLC/HMI. Extensive Batch not required, but experience with Equipment Module (EM) level programming with a basic recipe layer is preferred.
o Basic knowledge of Allen Bradley/Rockwell PLCs is preferred.
o Knowledge of GDP, cGMP, GAMP, and working in a regulated environment is heavily preferred.
o Knowledge of Oral Solid Dose process technologies (Encapsulating, Blending, Feeding, Costing, Tablet Press) is a plus

Platforms: Microsoft Windows, Emerson DeltaV
Thorough understanding of control system design and coding
Self-motivated, excellent communication skills, and enjoy working with people
B.S. in Electrical, Computer, or Chemical Engineering or Engineering Technology
Hands-on experience with current Emerson DeltaV
Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Standard Responsibilities:
Work in team environment with engineers and designers from our client, our client's partners and end clients to provide state of the art Control Systems to improve efficiency, product quality, and profitability of process manufacturing
Develop Life Cycle documents, Electrical panels, Control Architecture and wiring drawings per GMP standards
Redline P&ID documentation
Define and implement distributed control system (DCS) configurations
Testing and on-site commissioning and qualification of control systems

Develop engineering standards to improve efficiency and accuracy of project execution
