Offering a $1,500 Signing Bonus for a Skilled Dental Assistant to join our Plainville Dental Group team!

About you:

You are an experienced, skilled Dental Assistant looking for growth and advancement. You can easily prepare an operatory room for your patients and you provide support to dentists, surgeons, and other team members. You’re motivated by helping your patients develop and maintain good oral health. You’re a team player, eager to learn, and excited for a new opportunity!

Your Strengths:

· Assist in the performance of both routine and more complicated surgical procedures

· Assist in updating and maintaining client dental records

· Ensure all operatories are equipped with the necessary tools

· Sterilize dental instruments and tools

· Assist in the performance of both routine and more complicated surgical procedures

· Prevent the spread of infection and disease by maintaining a surgically clean work environment

Your Skills & Experience:

· 1+ years of experience as a Dental Assistant

· Comprehensive understanding of dental instruments

· Exceptional customer service skills

· Strong knowledge of computer programs

· CPR/First Aid certified

· Radiology certified

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary, company paid CE, paid time off, and medical and retirement benefits (including 401k match). Compensation is dependent on level of experience. Please note that the signing bonus assumes employment with the practice or one of our affiliated practices for at least one year.

Dental assistants of all skill sets in Connecticut are required to provide records demonstrating a successful completion of DANB’s Infection Control (ICE) exam. The ICE exam is intended to test participants’ knowledge about the prevention and management during dental procedures.

Section 20-112a of the Connecticut General Statues states that all dental assistants must be able to successfully complete the dental radiography portion exam administered by the DANB prior to operating dental x-ray equipment.
