A professional Engineering & Architecture services company, serving the public and private sectors since 2007, is looking for a Design Compliance Manager to join their team in the New York area to supervise the construction design team.

The ideal candidate will be:

• Responsible for the supervision of the consultant’s construction and design teams
• Managing the design and construction of major transit projects
• Managing work scope, budgets, and schedules
• Maintain and store all project documentation in an electronic fashion per MTA C&D's established records management procedure
• Working in proximity to active MTA operations
• Scheduling and estimating projects
• Maintaining Track Training, OSHA, and other necessary training during the term of the Contract

Salary

From $125.000 to $165.000 a year depending on experience

Requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in construction or design related field
• Experience with construction/design elements in rail/transit projects with similar ADA or elevator/escalator replacement and state of good repair work
• New York PE, RA, or CCM is preferred but not required
• Valid Driver’s License during the term of the Contract
• Proficient in the use of personal computers and office software, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat Professional
• Knowledge of relevant MTA and MTA C&D operations, Policies and Procedures
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations, and industry safety standards (i.e., OSHA)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong project negotiation and management skills
• Strong technical and project coordination skills
