The mission of the Center for Early Success is to strengthen the system of individuals and organizations caring for and educating children ages birth to five.

We are a professional, fast-paced, and collaborative organization.

The Professional Development Manager will assume the lead organizational role of planning and implementing of Center for Early Success' professional development opportunities, both locally and regionally. This position will report to the Executive Director, while collaborating with the Director of Ready Regions and Director of Community Impact to analyze training needs and identify workshops, conferences and other offerings that meet community needs.

Organizational Grants Support:

  • Collaborate with grant funders to develop a work plan in accordance with goals, objectives and funding limitations to plan trainings, conferences, workshops, family engagements, and coordinated enrollments.

Professional Development and Implementation:

  • Assume lead role in all professional development efforts funded by Center for Early Success. (i.e. facilitating, marketing, registrations, and logistics)
  • Recruit and retention efforts to ensure highly qualified candidates for speaking and presenting.
  • Assist with planning professional development activities for readiness programs.
  • Identify, analyze and support local level needs of non VQB5.
  • Maintain professional and clear communication between team members, clients, vendors and presenters.
  • Develop and foster positive working relationships with vendors, community partners and stakeholders.
  • Participate in community meetings related to Early Care and Education opportunities for local and regional providers.
  • Attend a variety of meetings.

Grant Management-Serve as Regional Officer for Child Development Resources grant:

  • Ensure grant deliverables are met by working closely with specialist and consultant.
  • Submit monthly reports and invoices by deadline.
  • Participate in monthly meetings and annual TA events as requested.
  • Handle communications between grant funder and CES.

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Content development: 3 years (Preferred)

  • 50% (Required)
