We are seeking a Die Cutter Operator Apprentice to join the RR Donnelley team in beautiful Greensboro, NC. The Die Cutter Apprenticeship is a defined, step-by-step programmed designed to graduate qualified Die Cutter Operators. If you are looking for a new career we encourage you to apply.

The following are routine duties you will seek to master:

• Set up, operate and maintain Bobst Sheet fed Die Cutting machines in a safe and efficient manner
• Load and unload materials, change dies, and make necessary adjustments to the machines
• Ensure that all materials meet customer specifications, including size, registration, creasing quality and other die-cut specifications
• Monitor production output and take corrective action when necessary
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including regular cleaning and maintenance of equipment
• Communicate effectively with team members, including press operators and supervisors
• Stay current on industry trends, new technology and best practices

• Ability to read and interpret work orders and follow written and verbal instructions
• Must be a team player and able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor for extended periods of time

• Work experience that demonstrates a mechanical aptitude
• History of taking positions with increased responsibility

The national pay range for this role is $18.50 to $21.21 / hour. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
