Job Responsibilities:

• Determine correct exposed surface of aluminum extrusion
• Correct improper finish
• Maintain extrusion tolerances
• Correct improperly running dies to ensure even extrusion flow
• Work closely with Extrusion Department Supervisors and Press Operators

Job Location: Delhi, LA

Summary: The Die Corrector will correct exposed surfaces of aluminum extrusions. The Die Corrector will report to the Die Shop Supervisor.

Shifts Available and Hours: 2nd shift

3PM To 11:30PM

Shift Premium: 2ND shift - $1.00/hour extra

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 5+ years as a Die Corrector
• 5 years-experience correcting and repairing extrusion dies
• CAD experience is a plus
• Ability to read blueprints, calipers, and micrometers
• Knowledgeable on latest die design practices and technology
• Knowledgeable and skilled in latest correction practices
