We have an immediate opening for Die Setters in Clarkston, MI.

PRINCIPAL FUNCTION

Change production tools in injection molding presses as scheduled insuring tool is watered correctly and process set up in machine. Also includes but not limited to removing all items from prior set up, bringing new material, components, etc for new set up. Assists supervisor in troubleshooting and fixing presses that go down during the shift.

RESPONSIBILITIES (Overview):

• Complete tool changes as scheduled.
• Complete Mold Set Up Checklist to insure mold change is accurate and complete.
• Insure correct material is supplied to press
• Empty grinders and properly mix regrind with virgin material to insure regrind is used while maintaining part quality.
• Complete color changes as required.
• Assist supervisor with shift start up and troubleshooting problems throughout the shift.
• Assist in taking product to next operation after it has been signed off the quality.
• Assist in keeping the plant clean and orderly.
• Report any repairs needed to the supervisor or maintenance technician.
• IATF Compliance
• Other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
