Diesel Mechanic
As a Diesel Mechanic you will support engineering during testing activities. Change instrumentation, collect data, change/modify parts through test iterations, and support engineering by instrumenting trucks for data collection.
Technician / Mechanic
Min. 5 years of truck service or Heavy Duty Truck Education Diploma
Good understanding of HVAC Systems
Basic understanding or knowledge of Truck systems (steering, suspension, brakes, electrical, engine, transmission, drivability/handling, emissions)
Heavy duty diesel diagnostics is a plus
Must be willing to travel
Identify different types of instrumentation, understand application, and understand function
Support engineering by instrumenting trucks for data collection during testing activities.
Change instrumentation, collect data, change/modify parts through test iterations, component testing
Must have basic PC skills - Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
Perform vehicle retrofits including custom installations to prepare vehicles for test.
Routine maintenance and inspections on class 8 vehicles
Programming and troubleshooting of vehicle systems using service tool
ASE a plus
CDL A or B a plus but not required
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
