Job description

A local transporation with national reach and brances is currently seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team. Candidates must be experienced with diagnosing and repairing vehicles, and we're looking for someone who is comfortable working with a variety of different makes and models. The ideal candidate for this position has strong interpersonal skills, can work well with others, and has a background in diesel technology.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair semi-trucks and tractors.
• Maintain and repair diesel engines.
• Diagnose engine trouble.
• Maintain and repair vehicle equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, etc.
• Troubleshoot vehicle issues.
• Maximize efficiency of trucks.
• Diagnose and resolve gearbox issues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $48.00 per hour
