Job Summary:

The Digital Marketing Specialist is an integral part of the development, execution and optimization of our digital marketing initiatives. This role requires a hybrid of skills for both design and writing for our email, SMS and social media marketing. They will provide creativity, organization and support to our sales and marketing efforts. This position contributes to the success of trueCABLE by helping build brand awareness and increasing sales through our online sales channel. This role is responsible for the day-to-day implementation of social media, SMS and email marketing. They help to execute the following responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Promote trueCABLE brand awareness internally and externally
• Collaborate with the team to brainstorm new and creative growth strategies for digital marketing campaigns and promotions to attract and retain customers
• Manage social media by creating strategic posts and paid ads to build an engaged community. You will be the friendly voice engaging with customers on social media
• Utilize analytics data to recommend the best strategies for social media, SMS and email marketing
• Create and publish social media content, which includes blogs, videos, infographics, and photography
• Coordinate with our technical team on the development, scheduling, editing and posting of technical product content, which includes responding to comments and questions
• Develop brand and product content, which includes designing and editing visual content, and writing and proofing written content
• Assists with the development of ideas for educational video content and contributes to video set design
• Research social media influencer opportunities, and develop a strategy to partner with influencers to further promote the brand
• Build strategic content calendars for social media, SMS, and email marketing
• Develop a basic understanding of the our products and their technical details
• Create strategies with leadership and marketing team for promoting new products, growing our email/SMS list, accruing more customer reviews, and other marketing efforts
• Work with external agencies and vendors to execute marketing programs, including SMS, email and paid advertising
• Assist with marketing promotional items including branded apparel, printed collateral, swag items, and property signage
• Collaborate with other departments on related projects and assist with internal marketing
• This is a full-time position that will work regular business hours, Monday through Friday
• Willing to travel to our warehouse in Kansas City, MO
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Well rounded experience in marketing and communications strategies and tactics
• Experience in digital marketing required, preferably ecommerce
• Working knowledge of email marketing and automation tools
• Intermediate knowledge of social media marketing including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok.
• Strong organization skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• You’ll be representing our brand on social media and through SMS and email, so a keen attention to detail is required
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud and other design and video editing platforms is a plus
• Familiarity with ecommerce sales channels such as Amazon, Shopify and eBay a plus
• Strong content writing and proofreading skills and the ability to write persuasive copy
• We’re not micromanagers, so you must be a self-starter who can see tasks and projects through to completion
• Genuine curiosity and the desire to learn. We are ever-changing and need team members who are innovative and adaptable.
• You’ll be working remotely so you must have the ability to work independently and collaboratively with the team
• Track record of successfully working from home or remotely is a plus

Physical requirements:

• Sitting for most of the work shift, constantly operating a computer with extended hours viewing a computer screen, constant use of fingers, hands, and arms for typing, ability to regularly talk and hear, occasionally lift, push or pull 25 pounds, occasional bending or reaching.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
