Northfield Mount Hermon seeks an energetic, qualified individual to manage and be responsible for the administration, communications and sustainability operations of the Dining Services department. The Production Manager position oversees all aspects of the dining services work job program, overseas purchasing, works with vendors contracts and monthly bids, and serves as the sustainability liaison between dining services and the NMH Community. The position also works collaboratively to coordinate all communications, maintain salary budgets, process and code invoices, and coordinate and book special events within the NMH community.

The successful applicant will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 2-4 years previous food service, restaurant or school food production experience at an increasingly responsible level; previous supervisory experience preferred. HACCP Food Safety Certification is required. Experience/knowledge of allergen awareness is highly preferred. Additional qualifications include outstanding organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team, as well as being a self-starter capable of working independently. NMH dining services staff work closely with our students, the ability to work effectively with and instruct adolescents in the preparation and service of meals is essential. A high level of knowledge and comfort with computers is required; experience with CBORD, Menu Management, Event Master, FMS, Microsoft Office and Google products is preferred. A valid driver’s license is required and must be able to work weekends and overtime.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
