Miller County Board for Services for the Developmentally Disabled (MCBSDD) is looking for dedicated, honest, compassionate individuals to serve as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) working in our Residential Program in Osage Beach, MO. These are part-time positions, one being an overnight / PRN position with around 18 guaranteed hours per week, and the other being a PRN position with the flexibility to fill in as needed, including overnights, throughout our Residential program.

Job responsibilities include assisting adult individuals with developmental disabilities in all aspects of daily living, while providing a safe and positive living environment focused on individualized, person-centered supports. Responsibilities include assistance with personal care, cooking, cleaning, laundry, transportation in an agency vehicle, medication administration, and other duties as assigned.

All required training is provided by MCBSDD. Required trainings include CPR/First Aid, Level 1 Medication Aide, Abuse/Neglect, and other trainings mandated by the Missouri Department of Mental Health. Employees must obtain a valid Missouri Class E driver's license within 30 days of employment and must pass a comprehensive background screening through the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services and the Missouri Highway Patrol.
