Director, Data and Analytics Delivery Leader
Mercer Data & Analytics (DnA) Delivery COE is looking for a DnA Delivery Leader, with strong technical and product background, program management and leadership experience to manage critical data & analytics projects.
What can you expect?
- Shape business requirements to create compelling value through the delivery of data, AI and analytics solutions across multiple Lines of Business
- Lead the team of Delivery Project Managers and work through a matrix team of solution architects, data engineers, data scientists and the business teams to ensure business requirements are properly translated, technical standards are followed, project plans are reasonable, and deliveries are within expectation from both time and quality perspective.
- Partner with product leaders across the company to formulate line of business specific DnA strategy and roadmap
- Own responsibility for communicating what value is being delivered and how the solution has been designed to meet the business needs by streamlining end-of-sprint technical demos and product launch demos to the rest of the organization
- Own the delivery of business demand, and partner with business partners to provide feedback and shape the GTM launch
- Foster partnership with internal teams and external vendor organizations to orchestrate the most effective methods of value delivery.
- Coach and aid in the skill development of the team, including delivery project leaders.
- Align solution design to enterprise data management, security, and governance controls.
- Work with Data and Analytics platform leaders on platform roadmap and technology standards
- Perform other duties as assigned.

What you need to have:
- 15+ experience in various areas of delivering technology based business solutions at scale, both on-prem and in cloud (preferably AWS)
- 10+ years in data and analytics, with broad knowledge of data, modern data platforms, data visualization, descriptive and predictive analytics
- Ideal candidate would have grown in their career through Engineering and architect roles, with more recent experience in program delivery and/or product management, with a good mix of working for both large enterprises and tech startups
- Technical background and understanding of data/ML pipeline development, embedded data analytics, delivering Data as a service via API or marketplace; End to end application development experience at some points in their career
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to consult, present, and influence effectively to all seniority levels.
- Experience in managing a complex portfolio of multiple data and analytics projects
- Ability to articulate complex technical issues clearly and concisely
- Strong organization skills, with an attitude of driving to success.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $131,800 to $263,500.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
