Director of Ecommerce Analytics & Optimization
As the Director of Ecommerce Analytics & Optimization, you will partner with leaders across our Product Management, UX and Site Merchandising teams to standardize reporting, analyze data, provide actionable insights, and lead multivariate testing. To achieve this, you will build great partnerships with stakeholders, understand their goals and support the prioritization of enhancements based on ROI analysis. You will be supported by, and responsible to manage, third-party analytics and CRO partners. Our customers' success is your success and we are hyper-focused on designing a frictionless shopping experience and will measure progress through KPIs. This role will report into the Vice President of Ecommerce.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing site metrics and dashboards to monitor site health and influence the overall direction for the site - including but not limited to Conversion Rate, Add-To-Cart, Bounce Rate, Checkout Funnel Rate, Core Web Vitals, and Speed Performance.
  • Weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to support eCommerce Product Management and Site Merchandising teams.
  • Measuring the health and performance of the website daily through analytics and key metrics.
  • Analyzing the impact of any changes or issues on the website, including new features and/or product launches, and performance by traffic source.
  • Capturing business requirements and translating them into design specifications for Digital Analytics implementations.
  • Create and maintain an analytics manifest
  • Partners with Product Managers/UX to identify and prioritize future on-site optimizations or functionalities to enhance customer experience.
  • Identify core customer conversion paths and identify end-to-end optimizations to enhance both the browsing and shopping experience.
  • Identifying critical paths to conversion by segment and traffic source, providing insights to inform web development and the testing roadmap.
  • Lead AB Testing planning meetings and calendar, share learnings, and prioritize the most valuable tests to be performed and ensure the testing pipeline is always full.
  • Leveraging cutting-edge data and insights tools, driving AB testing and optimizations.
  • Migrating to GA4
  • Analyze performance of content to assess opportunities for improved content development.
  • Leads and supports the selection of vendors in the Analytics and CRO industry and effectively manages the relationships.
  • Refine and maintain, working with an analytics vendor, site tagging, pixel, and tracking strategies to support highly accurate, granular data collection.
  • Identifying and escalate key site issues and opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of experience in Digital Analytics field
  • Ability to derive insights from complex data and present recommended actions that drive KPI goals
  • Technical skills in Google Analytics, data layers, and Tag Management and Data Studio
  • Ability to quantify the value of online experiences that drive offline (in-store) conversions
  • An interest in GA4 and Server-side tagging
  • Ability to forge partnership with key stakeholders and cross functional team members
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Experience with Quantum Metrics, Qualtrics, Hot Jar, Foresee or Mouseflow a plus
