Catalight is the parent organization leading a family of companies (FOC) that includes Easterseals Northern California, Easterseals Hawaii, Catalight Care Services, and Xolv Technology Solutions. Across the five non-profit companies, there are nearly 700 employees working together to responsibly disrupt and transform home and community-based care and help become a diverse, equitable and inclusive organization that works proactively to address complex societal problems such as healthcare access and greater well-being for underrepresented communities.
Job Summary
Interested in building awareness and affinity for an organization serving nearly14,000 individuals and families with developmental disabilities with your marketing and communications expertise? As the Director of External Marketing & Communications (Marcom) you will leverage your experience in direct marketing, customer acquisition, sales enablement and PR for Catalight and its family of companies (FOC) in support of the long-term strategic direction of the organization. As a Director in the Marcom team, you will support the strategy, manage the day-to-day activities, write content and work with our business partners to build our brand, thought leadership and support revenue growth. This role will be responsible for ensuring all work is on brand, accurate, inclusive, creative, measurable and aligned to the organization’s vision, values, strategy and goals.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional writing skills, a growth and ROI mindset, and a successful track record for taking a strategic and creative approach to delivering impactful marketing and PR programs that understand how storytelling and content come to life across all channels – in traditional and non-traditional ways. The Director will execute multiple high impact initiatives simultaneously, operating collaboratively within the Marcom team and matrixed structure to deliver overall organizational goals. This is a highly cross-functional, strategic and hands-on role managing the day-to-day external marketing efforts, while not losing sight of the big picture.
This role will report to the Chief Marketing and Impact Officer and will contribute to the growth of the organization with targeted marketing and PR campaigns managed through thoughtful collaboration, prioritization, communication, and evaluation of results, while preserving the FoC’s reputation for integrity and excellence.
