TITLE: Director Home Care
REPORTS TO: COO
POSITION STATUS: Full-time, exempt
Surrey Services for Seniors is a nonprofit that helps older adults live with independence and dignity and to continue as active members of the community. Among its business units is a Home Care Services department that offers non-medical in home care.
POSITION OBJECTIVE
The Director executes and oversees strategic, operational, administrative, clinical, and financial aspects of the Surrey Home Care Services business unit and Home Health Aide Training program, to ensure its continued growth and that quality services are delivered to clients and employees.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
General:
- It is the expectation that the the Director will oversee and assume full responsibility for the management and operations of the Home Care Office and Home Health Aide Training Program.
- As a director, you will be responsible and accountable for compliance, fiscal management, business development, and coordination of all services offered.
- The director must be confident to manage, market and improve the home health aide training program ensuring it provides a continuous flow of high quality home health aide candidates.
- The Home Care director is ultimately responsible and accountable to grow the home care business year over year.
- It is essential that the Director supervises, mentors, supports, and holds the team accountable for providing high quality care and excellent customer service while growing the business to meet expected budgeted results.
- A successful director will develop and execute both marketing and recruiting plans.
- Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, federal, state, and local laws and regulations is an essential responsiblity for the director.
The Director will develop long-term trusting relationships with clients, employees, community members, and neighboring community organizations.
- The home care director must maintain and expand community referral sources and service partner relationships to enhance and support Surrey Home CareREQUIREMENTS & CONDITIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or previous experience in relevant field
- 3 or more years of operational management and supervisory experience
- Proven track record of successfully growing a business within budget
- Experience in a high-volume home and community-based services organization is a plus
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Customer service and relationship building skills
- Strong oral and written communications
- Budgeting and forecasting experience
- Experience with Sales, Marketing, and high-volume recruiting
- Leadership, talent development, and supervisory management of Home Care team
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Above average flexibility
- Works independently, is reliable, decisive and results oriented
- Above average knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, scheduling software, and training software
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
