Cedarwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is a beautiful Continuum of Care campus located in Tyrone, Pennsylvania. Our skilled nursing center provides comprehensive therapies with advanced technology. Our personal care suites offer a “home away from home” with a clinical focus on medication management and assistance with daily living activities. These spacious apartments are just right for the senior who wants to maintain a comfortable lifestyle but requires assistance with daily living activities.

The Preserve at Cedarwood offers one and two bedroom independent living apartments, which include water, sewer, washer/dryer unit, a private kitchenette, a private bathroom, and electric. Also included are access to the gym, the billiard room, chapel, and the library. These spacious apartments are just right for the active senior who wants to maintain a comfortable lifestyle. Our apartments offer an exceptional value with a convenient location and an attractive setting.

As Director of Admissions and Marketing, you are responsible for managing the facility census by opening and maintaining accounts with insurers, community organizations and hospitals, which generate patient referrals and admissions.

Essential Duties include but are not limited to:

• Assesses referred patients to determine appropriate placement based on facility’s admission criteria.
• Communicates with hospital discharge planners, case managers, social workers, medical staff and Cedarwood Nursing staff regarding discharge from hospital and admission to skilled nursing facility.
• Fosters positive relationships with all community referral sources and potential admissions.
• Manages referral sources including but are not limited to hospitals, physicians, nurse practitioners, hospice and home care agencies.
• Works to increase facility referral base and help to maintain and grow census.

Qualifications for the Director of Admissions and Marketing:

• 1 year of Long Term Care experience in the Admissions department preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,500.00 per year
