The Director of Sales - Catering and Events will promote our brand and drive revenue for all our affiliated lines of business. Bay Kitchens Catering, Bay View Restaurant and Bar, and Bayside Fresh Market were born out of a passion for food and culinary excellence. With over 100 years of combined culinary experience, our business offers authentic dining experiences, personalized events, and unique shopping in the Horseshoe Bay area. JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for driving revenue, soliciting, and responding to companies, organizations, and individuals regarding purchasing food and beverage services; managing meeting space to maximize revenue; overseeing catered events, and building lasting relationships with clients. Works closely with Ownership and Management teams to formulate menu and service options that “wow” our clients and that meet company quality and profitability standards.
MAIN JOB DUTIES:
· Manages client relationships from drafting proposals and contracts to responding to customer inquiries, as well as organizing detailed specs as they relate to social and corporate events.
· Communicates with customers by telephone, e-mail, or in-person to solicit and close sales for catered events both in-house and off-site.
· Strong knowledge base of food and beverage options; ability to make suggestions to customers.
· Meets with and entertains customers, conducts on-site tours, and promotes the company within professional business parameters.
· Utilizes professional discretion to negotiate contracts that drive revenue goals.
· Responsible for driving the BEO process; participates in weekly BEO meetings to review upcoming business on the books, as well as discuss possible future bookings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or related degree preferred.
· 5+ years previous experience in catering sales or another similar role that includes food and beverage and sales and service.
· Strong prospecting and sales closing skills.
· Proficient with computer applications and general business tools including, math, data entry, MS Office suite, email, and internet research.
· Experience with event management software such as Delphi or Triple Seat.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
